I’m an eclectic personality with a diverse range of knowledge and an insatiable “need-to-know.” When desperate for something to read as a kid I’d grab my dad’s Popular Mechanics Magazines or read National Geographic and I didn’t just look at the pictures. I’ve walked barefoot over hot coals twice and would do it again in a heartbeat.  I worked my way up the corporate ladder with some success and I’ve had my own companies.  Some of my businesses were quite lucrative and others were fabulous flops.  Hey, it’s good to be well rounded.  So far the hardest job I’ve had is being a mother to a teenage boy. (sigh)

I’ve been a blog voyeur, since its beginning.  That’s voyeur: an obsessive observer of sensational subjects. And there are a lot of sensational bloggers on the net.  Until recently I was quite content to live vicariously through their writings.

Why am I blogging now? I’m re-energizing a career that gave me a rush and taking my creative side out for a run.

At first I thought I’d do a writing site for new writers but there’s so many excellent ones out there it was hard to get fresh insights and I was beginning to bore myself. As of Aug 1, 2009 I’m refocusing my blog.
